The 3rd annual Project Save Our Surf: SURF 24 took place on June 19th-20th in Huntington Beach, California. The event coincided with International Surfing Day, which was established by Surfrider Foundation and Surfing Magazine to promote clean oceans and clean water.

who hit the surf for this 24-hour-event included John Slattery (Mad Men), Chad Lowe (24), Sam Trammell (True Blood), Tate Donovan (Damages), Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives), Ingo Rademacher (General Hospital), Zoe Bell (Grindhouse), Galen Gering (Days of Our Lives) and others, along with pro-surfers James Pribram, John Philbin, Tom Curren, Buttons Kaluhiokalani, Don Bigelow, Mary Osborne and Matt Beacham.
