The Globe Pro Fiji, event number four on the ASP World Tour, took place in Namotu Tavarua, Fiji, from 25 May - 6 June 2008.

The event lived up to its reputation as competitors were treated to 6-8 foot surf at both Restaurants and Cloudbreak. Competitors and contest organizers alike felt that the 2008 Globe Pro Fiji was the best event for waves on the Men’s ASP World Tour in nearly two years.

After missing the event in 2006, Kelly Slater picked up right where he left off in 2005, in vicious form and with another win - his third this year's tour. Despite strong performances by Globe team riders CJ Hobgood and Taj Burrow, finishing 2nd and 3rd, respectively, Slater’s form was true to his eight world titles.
