Last night was greeted to some bumpy chest high waves with the usual suspects out. Good craic to see so many people in the water, even a crowd of kayakers landed for a bit of a last light attempt at wave riding in less than ideal conditions.

As to the weekend this northerly little swell that has been around for the last couple of days looks to turn to the west and all but die off. The winds will be the real problem as they are forcasted to westerly back to the northwest by Saturday afternoon lasting till sunday.

If shelter can be found for these conditions I suggest heading for it.... overall less than great conditions persist with long range improvements teasing us. End of next week is my bet for the best surf again if shelter can be found from these obnoxious westerlies.
