Hollow Surfboard Workshops

Paul Jensen is a new master and innovator of high-performance hollow wood surfboards. He started building foam and fiberglass boards in 1977, and in 2000 he pioneered a completely new method of fabricating Hollow Wood Surfboards.

Dubbed by Tom Wegener “the Godfather of the hollow surfboard renaissance”, Paul has taught workshops in Ireland, Portugal and the United States.

Paul is now coming to Australia in 2009.

The five day Australian classes are scheduled for Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and the Gold Coast on the following dates:
Adelaide: March 17, 18, 19, 20, 21
Perth: March 30, 31, Apr 1, 2, 3
Melbourne: April 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
Gold Coast: August (dates to be finalized)

These five-day workshops will have each participant build their own boards and begin glassing. The tuition for the five day class is $700 and will include the “How To” CD, a $100 value. Materials to build a board are extra, priced according to size and design, typically $45 per foot of board length.

Three day workshops will also be held in:

Isle of Jersey, UK: May 23, 24, 25
